Terrible service from a specific bartender who had long curly hair, feminine presenting and was wearing a Central Perk cafe hat. Gave us the hardest time in every interaction we had. We had opened a tab with another bartender who was really nice and then we came back downstairs to order food. We ask THIS bartender if we could order food with them (since we have a bar tab) and they say “No you have to look for a server” in the most passive aggressive tone. Doesn’t even bother to point one out just walks away. So we do that. Later we want another drink and go back to the bar already dreading interacting with this person. And we ask if we can get another drink and they wanted to ID us and we were like “we have a tab our ids are upstairs” and then they said “well do you even have a tab with ME?” And we were like “well we opened one here when we got here” so anyways we go get our IDs and we hand them to them and then asks us in the most aggravating sarcastic tone what we want and I ordered tequila with pineapple juice and my friend ordered a tequila soda. I drank straight up pineapple juice and my friend drank straight soda. Very different ratios from the first person and VERY unfriendl

My experience was incredibly disappointing. My friend and I sat on the second-floor patio behind the main bar because it was the only seating available. We waited over 40 minutes. The bartender was clearly busy, so we were respectful and patient. We assumed she would acknowledge us when she had a chance and she never did. Then a couple sat down right next to us, and within minutes she walked over with a smile and took their order. From what I saw, they didn't even have to call her over. Meanwhile, we had been sitting there the entire time without so much as eye contact or a "I'll be right with you in a minute." I even asked the patio server if I could order through her, and she told me I had to order at the bar. The problem was the bartender never acknowledged us, making it impossible to order in the first place. After waiting even longer to still give her a chance to see if she would finally look our way, we finally left. Thankfully, this establishment didn't get a single dollar from us because apparently no one wanted our business. I can't say for certain why we were ignored, but as a Latina woman, it's hard not to question whether race played a role when we were completely

When the soccer games first started, we came here to watch a game and the bar was very quiet. We weren’t sure what to expect, but Neely completely changed the experience. She is one of the nicest, friendliest, and most genuine servers we’ve met. She always makes everyone feel welcome, takes great care of her customers, and brings such a positive energy to the place. Since that first day, we’ve kept coming back to watch the games, and Neely is one of the biggest reasons why. Great service makes a big difference, and she is truly one of the best!

Q's Billiard Club and Restaurant is easily one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles to kick back with friends after a long week. As a Local Guide, I've seen my fair share of sports bars, but the lively atmosphere here really stands out. With plenty of well-maintained pool tables and screens everywhere, it’s the perfect place to grab some drinks, enjoy some classic pub fare, and catch a game. The service is surprisingly fast and friendly, even on busy weekend nights when the place gets packed. Whether you're a serious pool player or just looking for a laid-back night out in Los Angeles, this place is a genuinely solid choice. I highly recommend getting there a bit early if you want to secure a table without a wait!

**Q’s Billiards - Santa Monica** ★☆☆☆☆ I was a regular here. Twice a week, sometimes more, for months. Hundreds of dollars in table time, drinks, tips. The kind of customer who keeps a place like this open. Then my license expired by one day, and suddenly none of that mattered. I was treated like a flight risk over a thirty-dollar tab—by people who’ve seen my face a hundred times and run my card just as many. “Policy,” they said. Policy is what you hide behind when you’ve stopped thinking. **The tables:** Crooked. Unlevel. You’ll watch a ball drift on what should be a straight shot and realize the equipment doesn’t care about your skill—it’s working against you. The felt is worn through in spots, with actual holes. For a place that charges for table time, this is embarrassing. You’re paying for the privilege of playing on surfaces that would get laughed out of any serious pool hall. **The ID policy:** They hold your driver’s license while you play. Not in a lockbox, not behind the counter in a secure spot—in an open tray, visible to every employee, every customer, every person who walks through the door. Full names, home addresses, dates of birth, license numbers, all just si
